Video Game is a work with a multi-layered character. Right at the beginning, the feminine vocal stands out - it breathes words to us about a surreal existence in which we walk. The strong bass is slightly subdued - it lays on our shoulder like a heavy cloak without dragging us down. Extraterrestrial sounds mingle with the bassline, almost as if superhuman beings were playing instruments born in an alien cosmos. At the same time, they seem strangely familiar. Video Game has a melancholic character without losing power. It awakens a longing in us that we ourselves hardly comprehend. There is something inherent in this track that makes us pause and perceive our surroundings with different eyes. And we ask ourselves the question - is this reality? Fantasy? Or a program designed by supernatural beings? Pirmin Kenk picks up the essence of Video Game and plays with it - and with our minds. The vocals are still a character-building element. They float through the track, at the beginning of the journey still muffled, from the depths of waters they resound towards us, become clearer, break the surface, break through it - only to turn their backs on us again shyly like a nymph and hide between percussions. The bass is much softer - drums and kicks provide the framework here. A surreal effect is created that is addictive. This remix is delightfully playful, but doesnt lose any of the profound mood of the original. An expedition that takes us in and does not want to release even after the last sound fades away.
